Forced Air Heating and Cooling Repair

We work on any forced air heating and/or air conditioning system and have seen everything out there through the years. So, rest assured that we have the knowledge to service even the toughest units. We do not work on hydronics, boiler systems, wall heaters or floor units.

Preventive Maintenance

Forced air systems should be serviced every 3-4 years if new, every 2 years if over 10 years old and every year if over 15 years old for safety reasons. Filters should be changed monthly to 3 times a year by the homeowner for best system performance.

Steve and Sandie Davis have lived in the Truckee area for over 40 years. In between skiing, music, church and raising a family of four kids, they started Heat-Tech in 1995.
Two of our adult children worked for us for many years: Gabe and Peter Carlson. They have both moved on and we return to just Steve and Sandie running the business.

Installation

In the spring and summer we replace existing systems, add air conditioning and install ductless mini split air conditioners.
